Trust me, I know how you feel. At one point in my life, I was there too.

Hi. My name is Sher, founder of Milci Skin.

Growing up, my skin was as clear as could be – until one day, at 19 years old, it wasn’t. Since then, I have dealt with every skin concern you can imagine. Acne, eczema, inflammation, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, sensitivity – you name it, I’ve had it. My skin was worn out, sensitized and unhealthy. I did not know where and how to start treating my skin. I tried various western skin care products and sought advice from dermatologists, but nothing seemed to help. That was until I was introduced to Korean skin care.

A long-term approach

Instead of using harsh treatments and promising quick fixes and instant results, Korean beauty products adopt a more gentle and purposeful approach to treating the skin. They focus on nourishing and hydrating the skin, giving long-lasting results and making your skin radiate from within. And let me tell you, this approach has been a game changer. Once I switched to Korean skin care, my skin finally started healing and clearing up, and I re-gained my confidence.

Skin care can be overwhelming but it doesn’t have to be. That is why I created Milci Skin, to help you find your way in the skin care world. My mission is to help you understand your skin better, and to grow with your skin and its needs through the different stages of your life.

Our philosophy 

For us at Milci, beauty is about wellness and caring for yourself. What we love most about the Korean beauty routine is that it allows you to take a few minutes every day just for you to feel and be better. We believe beauty is a ritual. It is not just about looking good, it is also about caring for yourself and taking a moment to unwind. Our skin deserves to be treated with respect and to be genuinely cared for.  

Milci is a place for those who want to take care of themselves and their skin. After all, we have to wear it for the rest of our life. We won’t claim to help you get fast results and perfect skin, but we will surely support you in your journey to healthy skin. Our little Milci Skin Club is full of people who are working on keeping their skin happy, and we’d love for you to be a part of it too.

Ethics: we do the research, you do the shopping

Milci Skin exclusively carries Korean skin care brands that are 100% cruelty-free. One of the reasons why I created Milci Skin, was to raise awareness about the fact that many beauty brands still contribute to animal cruelty. I believe in holding companies accountable for putting profits over ethics. In this day and age, animal cruelty has no place in the world. There are cruelty-free alternatives for every product on the market, which is why there should be no need to buy products that are tested on animals. To save you the work, I do the boring stuff by researching which brands are [ actually ] cruelty-free, and then make their best products available for you in one place. Milci Skin is a place for you to shop premium products with a clear conscience whilst tackling ethical issues in the beauty industry.

Each product is selected and tested by me and only the highest quality products that actually work, are curated. I carefully examine the ingredients and formulations to maintain that the selected products bring you the very best of what Korean skin care has to offer. Our partners and we work directly with every brand we carry to make sure you’re getting authentic, EU-certified products straight from Korea.
